If you've tried all of your PCI slots; if you've tried pulling all other PCI
cards with the new card alone and *still* get POST beeps, then the new card
is either bad or incompatible.

Pretty simple.

probably a bad card if all you get is beep codes. did you check what the
beeps mean?

I have two of the cards and tried them both in different slots. This is the
only PCI card in the machine. The only other card is the video which is AGP.
I'm going to try the cards in a different machine today. I'll post back any
findings.
