Hi, I have a Cosair H80i water cooler and it is setup in a push pull configure but the pull fan is making alot of noise i have tested the fan and works perfectly, so i am wondering if it is a bad idea to do a push push setup onto the radiator? The pulling of the air through the radiator is what is making the noise.

My personal experience-
I got my H80i fitted by someone who had as much knowledge about liquid cooling as me (read:nil). For days I spent a lot of time looking for solutions to reduce temperatures, for an FX 8350 at stock settings. Finally I chanced upon a Push-Pull setup picture. In a minute I knew where the problem was.I was running push-push,not push-pull.Even though everyone says there's not much difference,my CPU's temperatures and the noise produced by those Corsair fans went down by a BIG margin when I switched to push-pull.
You could try it on your own and see the results.Best of Luck! :)

I have a FX 8150 i am not to bothered about the tempreture because 1 or 2 degrees wont make that much of a difference. I am already running a push pull config and wondering if it will be quieter to change to a push push. It shouldnt be as loud as it is it sounds like a jet engine.

Nothing will go wrong, but what's the point of liquid/water cooling if you get higher temperatures, even if they are only slightly higher? 😉 How about trying Quiet Mode of the fans in Corsair Link?See if that helps. :)

As for me and my CPU/H80i setup,my CPU's temperatures did go down after switching to push-pull,but I did reduce my CPU voltage as well (from 1.42[auto] to 1.35). :)
