H-Moire, V-Moire?

Pardon my ignorance but could someone explain to me what the heck is V-Moire and H-Moire?
I bought a new Samsung CRT and on advanced options I found these options and I don't know what are they for, and it doesn't seem to make much difference when I tweak them anyways.
