Hello,

Does anyone know where I can get the most recent update to the HP/Foxconn Aloe motherboard BIOS? THe board is manufactured by Foxconn and is model number RS880-uatx. Thanks

I should have mentioned that I've already searched HP's website. HP's Drivers and Software download page for this PC does not have a BIOS update. Other HP PC's do have BIOS updates on their equivalent page.

If there is not an update available from HP, You could try the Foxconn website, but I doubt that you could find what you need there. Generally, the vendor is the only source for updates to the BIOS. Even if the motherboard is made by some 3rd party, there is enough "customization" applied to the board, that the 3rd party doesn't supply the BIOS, and if they did, it might not support some of the HP specific features of the motherboard.

I've also checked the Foxconn website and downloaded "Fox Live" that is supposed to tell you whether they support the motherboard. Various websites say the board is manufactured by Foxconn but "Fox Live" says they do not support it. The only place that claims to have an update is a website called "BiosAgentPlus" that wants $30 for an annual subscription to update the BIOS and drivers. It would be worth it if they are legitimate, but I don't know anything about them. Do you or does anyone else?
