Hello,
I just got my H100 today. My antec p280 case for some reason does not come with top 240mm fan slots and I was too lazy to drill some holes...
So I mounted the radiator on the side.
I heard that for liquid cooling, the reservoir must be situated above the pump.
Would installing the radiator on the side damage the pump since the reservoir is slightly below the pump on the cpu block?
I did turn on the cpu. The pump isnt making any loud weird noise, nothing more audible than the fans. I can feel the liquid flowing through the pipes too.
Here is a picture. Thanks

Yes because air going through a system sound like a 747 jumbo jet on take-off roll. LOL If you have air, you will know it.

I think u miss understood my quesiton.
In custum builds, the reservoire should be below the pump since having air going through the pump would dmg it and having the pump below would make it easier to bleed out the air bubbles.
In prefilled loop, the reservoir is on the radiator. The loop SHOULD be full with almost no air bubble.
Thus, I am asking if it is safe to mount the radiator(pump) below the cpu block/pump combo since there shouldnt be air bubbles.
Also, since no filling is perfect, does the quiet sound of the pump and the fluid going through the tubes indicate a healthy functioning combo?

I have a solution. Contact Corsair support by chat or email and ask them. That's what those techs get paid for. LOL Chat would give an immediate answer, but I think they're closed down for the day. Give them a shout in email and see what they have to say.
