H100gtx not working.

Ok so I recently purchased a new motherboard processor and ram. And tried to use my h100gtx to cool it.

It's a i7 7800x on an Asus x299-A motherboard the cooler fits on using the intel mount and I connect it up as shown but it doesn't work at all.. the cup temp just rockets on startup!!

Maybe it was wishful thinking.. is the h100gtx just not compatible?

is the Corsair H100i is powered by the CPU fan connector and do you see the LED on it? and fans are spinning connected to Radiator?

You sure its mounted properly? with proper socket?
do you see in COrsair link in windows what are the PUMP RPM? and what are tempratures

I don't get that far buddy. It doesn't seem to be running I'm sure it's seated properly I think maybe it's knackered

Make sure the pump is powered.

how do you know CPU getting hot?
can you check the TEMP under Bios?

I am asking what are your CPU temp ? how do you know its getting Hot?
you can boot into bios via DELETE key and check CPU temp there

Yeah straight into bios. I get a warning saying cpu temp high

well then if the Cooler is mounted properly then i guess its the PUMP thats not working but
even the pump is not working if the CPU cooler is mounted properly then also it wont reach 90 that much fast i am also the use of H100i mine is also dead

Double check you have used the correct standoffs for mounting, I think its different for x99 and x299.
