Depends on the load as to where that's OK. Try Prime 95 on it. Or the Intel test. (Google them)
4930k @ stock speed (3.4ghz)
I tried prime95, i didn't keep it 1 hour, only about 15min.
I thought it was way hot for its stock speed. I believe there is something wrong with my cooling solution.
I have a h100i cooling 3570k at 4.8ghz with 1.28v and it doesn't pass 60c gaming 72c prime95 blend. It is in push/pull with low fan speed. I dont know if it makes a big difference.
If you are looking for a really good paste, I use IC diamond and its the bees knees. Last month I lazily wiped thermal paste of my gpu and reapplied new tim and the temps rose 10c so it makes a huge difference.
