So i have seen people mount it on the top but cant do push/pull because of space but you can install it in the front panel as push/pull. what would you recommend?
If you put it in front, you won't have any hdd cages. But it would be better cooling since it would intake cool air instead of being on top getting hot air. You'd also be push/pull instead of push (or pull) so is also better cooling and without the cages there it's better airflow for the rest of the components.
You just have to figure out which way you want the air to flow. Most people have air flow in from the front (it's usually unrestricted) and the bottom (cold air sinks), while they put exhaust in the rear (usually near the top where there is less clutter) and the top (heat rises). This is the optimal setup because you maximize your cooler air in. I would not recommend altering this setup
I wouldn't put the cooler in the front, venting the cooler out the front could be annoying (depending on the heat and its proximity to your body), in addition, you either loose an intake, or your top becomes an intake (definitely not ideal). I would recommend getting a fan with a high static pressure rating (Corsair sells them, look for SP in the item number) and drop the push fan. You shouldn't notice too much of a loss in performance.

The problem with that is that he's venting hot air into the case, which is not good.
