Question H100i V2 am4 mounting questions

Hello as the title suggests I am trying to mount my h100i V2 to my new msi b450 gaming plus max and have no idea how to do this with this new black plastic bit. It was forever ago when I mounted it on my b350 tomahawk, and I don't remember that board having these side bits. Do I just take it off? Also videos on YouTube mention some sort of plastic bit that goes on the back of the mobo. To my knowledge my kit did not come with this either. Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you mean the clips on the sides of the socket, yes you remove them. Those are just for holding AMD's (strangely, clip mounted) Wraith Prism stock cooler.
