I recently just got a new computer case and a h100i v2 and installed everything last night. The only problem is that I cant seem to connect the usb header for the h100i v2 corsair link cable. I have a asus sabertooth 990fx r2.0 mobo but there arent any ports matching the plug for corsair link.

Solution
It is supposed to be missing. You USB 2.0 headers on the mobo are missing it too. It should look just like your audio cable. Look closely at the motherboard for the USB connections. They will be missing a pin in the top corner.

You have 2 USB headers below the last PCIe connection on the bottom of the board. It will look like this.

I had this problem as well. You only have 2 usb headers on your motherboard and they are probably both currently being used. You will need to get a usb header splitter and plug it in to the usb header on the montherboard, then plug the existing case connection and the corsair link into it. Here is a link to the splitter on Amazon.

neither of the ports are being used right now. but neither of them fit the corsair link cable. the corsair link cable looks like an hd audio cable a 2x5 with the second to last one missing like
