Is there a way to fit the radiator in a case like this? Or did I mess up with selecting the case?

The manual and every installation video I found has you mounting it against the top but that's where the PSU is in the one I got.

The cooler is a Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2 and the case a Cooler Master CM Force 500 mid tower.

a Corsair H60 would be a better fit for that case.
the only way you can install it is if you have space for 2 fans inside that drive bay.

the manual will recommend having the fans of the radiator as intake since they will provide the coolest air for the rad. but you will end up blowing warm air into the whole system. it is better to have the radiator as exhaust if you install it at the rear or top.

since the only space you might have is in the front of the case, I recommend using them as intake as the manual suggests.
thanks, didn't expect anyone to answer so fast.

>yeah exhausting the air is the best choice with an AIO cooler.

what does all of this mean?

>it wasnt a good choice really

Yeah, looks like it.

This is going to be a secondary PC for me. I have another case (my main PC that I'm using right now) with the PSU on the bottom and space on the top so it looks like it'd be easy to mount there. Trying to decide between removing everything from this one and switching the cases or removing the drive bays (the whole thing comes off) from the new case and trying to fit the radiator in that way.

AIO is "all in one" water cooler. Exhausting means pushing air out of case as opposed to drawing it in. You want to push hot radiator air out, not into the system. If you put it in the front you'll need good intake fans blowing cool air in to get a good balance of air flowing in one direction and out at the front.

That case looks more suited to an air cooler but it wont hurt to try the front, as long as you have good intake at the back/side.

This is all interesting, thanks.

The manual though, recommends "mounting the fans as an air-intake to your PC case". The fans on both the cases I'm pretty sure blow air out. Should I reverse them? Or have the radiator fans do the intake? Or it doesn't really matter?
