h100i v2 question

im using corsair h100 v2 on my rig. I did not use the fans included because i wanted to use the fans
my case comes with because of the LEDs. The water block comes with fan headers and my question is, is it ok if i dont connect my case fans to those headers? Instead i had it plugged on my mobo.

usually there is the fan plug at the radiator cpu mounting right? make sure to plug that into the cpu fan header at the mobo, but the fan could just be plugged to another header

the actual cooling block i had it plugged in on the aio fan header. but the 2 fans for the radiator i plugged it straight on the mobo
