Howdy great peeps,

Getting the H110 this Saturday.

Should I replace the fans with these?
http://www.corsair.com/en-us/air-series-sp140-led-red-high-static-pressure-140mm-fan
(All fans in the PC are entirely red & I am using 2 GTX 970s from MSI)

The stock fans are apparently better in pressure & CFM.
However, it does make a loud noise as far as I could gather..
(Do intend to keep it running at 100%, always)

So yeah.. should I replace them with the SP140s?

Much greetings,
Mike

Howdy,
As I said, "Getting the H110 this Saturday" 😛

Howdy,
Yeah that is one of the reasons I am asking.

I run a similar system with an OC on the i7-4690K up to 4650Mhz (turbo) - the H75 doesn't get off idle.

maybe rather than get the H110, get the H105 instead - already has SP fans

EDIT: Idle CPU temp is 36degC - considering the average indoor temp here is around 25-30degC here at the moment - that aint bad for the lil H75!

Howdy,
Already ordered the H110 & a pair of red LEDs SP140s

I have a Samsung 850 PRO 256GB now :)

As I said 😛
I already ordered them, and from all videos I could find, it is indeed ear deafening.

Dunno if you have any experience installing these coolers, (so just ignore the below if you do) but I know the instructions that come with it can be vague. The only really important thing is that the Pump Header connects to a Fan Header on the MOBO and the Fans on the radiator connect to the CPU header. If you have a PWM system, you need to tell it to set the pump on the Fan header to 100% in every profile.

It will also tell you to install them as a Pull (outside air in), I typically make any air going through a radiator exhaust to avoid clogging them with dust - The only time I had them pulling was with an extreme overclock build I did where an extra 5degC was needed.

Have fun!

Yep already used several water coolers now 😛
The H100i was a pain to install, the backplate was horrible..
Also do it always on top as exhaust :)

Thanks!
