Hello forum.

I am thinking about upgrading to a i3 6100 with DDR4 RAM. However, I would go with a H110 M/B and not the expensive Z170. I read that i3 6100 is a lot better with RAM clocked at 2666 MHz, then at 2133 which is max "supported" by any boards other then Z170.
I have read that if you buy a 2666 MHz RAM, stick it in a H110 M/B (which supports XMP) and you enable XMP, it will work at 2666 Mhz. Could anyone confirm or deny this?

My current build:
Asrock 960GM-VGS3-FX
FX-6300 BE
HD-7850 (overclocked to 7870 frequencies)
Inteso SSD 128 GB
1 TB main drive
Corsair 450W PSU.

I plan to get the RX 480 when it comes out.
