h110 mother board UPGRADE TO Z170A POSSIBLE ?

Hi i got a pre built pc and it has a h110M motherboard i want to change it to z170 is that possible my cpu is i7 6700 intel i asked my friend he sayed the chipset and thing i dont know + the z170a mobo is compatibile with my cpu soo please help me

The vast majority of Z170 boards take DDR4, so you will need to make sure that if you have DDR3L, you get a Z170 board that accepts it, or buy new DDR4 RAM. What brand is the board you have now? There are a bunch of "H110M"s out there.

well idk i have ddr4 rams of course + i have the asus g11cd gaming pc thats all i know

Ah, OK. Just make sure you get a micro ATX board with that machine's case. If you want to stick with ASUS, there is the Z170M plus. Why are you switching boards anyway?
