I was having cooling issues with my Antec Kuhler 650..

So I upgraded to a Corsair h110i, and my case in order to fit it.

My setup includes

Thermaltake V51 Case
The 8320 (stock voltage/speeds)
Asus Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
XFX R9 270X
16gb RAM
Corsair AX850 Gold PSU
Four corsair intake fans (two on front, two on bottom)
Three exhaust fans (one on rear, and the two 140mm on radiator pushing)

My idle temps seem high, it idles around 38c or 100f... (ambient temp is roughly 25c) but with 100% load, 10 minutes of PRIME95 it tops at 113... is that normal? I applied the small dot of arctic silver on the processor before mounting, I also cleaned the old stuff off both processor and heatsink.

Try checking with amd overdrives thermal margin rather than 3rd party software.

113f under load ?? Very good , bit lower than expected in all honesty.
Idle temps on amd are always inaccurate at best in all honesty , how are you powering the pump connection wise??

It's powered via SATA, also to monitor the temps I use HWMonitor AND Corsair Link, both are identical in readings. I will look at the thermal margins with AMD OD.. do you know what's expected? I've looked at it using the old antec kuhler I had, I know the higher the better, lower the hotter, right?

Wow you are pretty good at estimating the temps haha... it was fluctuating between 47-51c. That's pretty good.
