Hello! I am building my personal rig, and I have run into a problem with the power connection of the H110i and my 750 watt Corsair non-modular PSU. I'll add a link to pictures of the PSU connections and waterpump connections. I don't want to fry another pump, as the last one ignited and an intense smell of burnt was observed.

When I connect the male connectors of the pump to the female psu, it looks very forced in as illustrated in the photo album

No probably not, the second time around they will give you a refund, well they should do anyway :)

Just follow the instructions to the letter and you should be alright, must have been a faulty pump the last time around :)
Hello!

It looks like it does fit although it is forceful...I'd suggest that we wait for other people to post what they think because that does look like you had to use a bit of force to get the two cables to connect, they are both the correct pins though so it should be alright but best to wait and see what others say :)

It's just weird how my CPU cooler completely fried. I booted up the PC and everything was working fine, including the fans on the radiator. CPU temperatures spiked up to 96 degrees celsius after just a couple of minutes. Thankfully I got a new one for free without any RMA. Really annoying, as I went out of my way to get the case quicker by paying a premium ..

Fried CPU cooler? Usually a CPU cooler consists of a radiator and some fans and on most coolers you can get fans to replace the ones that might have failed but a CPU cooler cant really "fry".

It must have been fitted onto the motherboard incorrectly to the point that heat transfer was not working at all, hence causing some toasty temps because 96C in a few minutes? Toasty toasty 😀

Right now, the pump itself seems to have been damaged for some reason .. I have fitted the connectors to cpu fan1, as instructed in the manual, as well as connected the mini usb to USB hub. I'll add a picture of the entire setup.

Well if you followed the manual to the letter it should be alright, get in touch with Corsair and see how they can help you because they may be able to come up with a solution quicker than I can, my rig is air cooled so I haven't touched any liquid components yet 😀

If that fails then give the place you bought it from a call and see if you can get a replacement because if you have followed the instructions it must be the pump that's bust :)

I am getting a new one the next two days :) They were kind to send me one with no discussion. I am just posting here so I don't risky destroying another one, doubt they'll replace twice.
