I cant seem to find secure boot in my bios. I have no idea why I updated my bios almost a year ago and before that I had to turn off secure boot to dual boot linux and windows. So I used to have secure boot. I'm trying to dual boot again and secure boot is nowhere to be found after updating my bios. Any clue why?

A clue may be to remember what secure boot really does - or did.

In my book of humble understanding it simply hinders any other OS than Windows to boot.
Or am I completely off line here ?
I am certainly open to learn ...
