Question H170 pro gaming cpu dram light up then turn off and no display

I have a h170 pro gaming
Put on an i5 6500 and i3 6100 for testing
Ram is not qvl(i have literally 5 types non are qvl)
Tried all the usual stuff different gpu psu ram slots etc
It turns on the cpu light for 1s then it turns off then the dram light lights up for 5s then it goes away and no display
Beeper gives nothing

The only thing I would mention to try is to reset CMOS and see if you can get it to boot on one of the various sticks of RAM on hand. I am dealing with this on (2) "6th gen" motherboards with a variety of CPU choice as well as RAM. It should be of consideration how old these boards are getting.

Did done that
