H170 Pro Motherboard compatible with DDR4 3000MHz?

I just bought a Corsair - Vengeance 2-pack 8gb 3hz DDR4 Desktop memory kit - Model CMU16GX4M2C3000C15.

I installed it and when I booted my PC I got a black screen.

Along with those two sticks of RAM I have the RAM that my pc came with which is a 8GB ADATA 2133MHz.

What might be the problem?

I didn't have much time to experiment or even try to remove my old stick of ram and see if the new two sticks would work since I had to leave to work.

Nope it will run at 2133mhz. IF IT RUNS AT ALL.

I am fine with it running at a slower speed but its not running at all. So most likely I should return for a DDR4 2133?
