Question H310M PRO-M2 PLUS - Does it need a bios update to run with i3 9100f?

I want to buy a new mb with a i3 9100f but i dont know if it will run without the need to update the bios. Is the update as simple as installing windows on a usb drive? Will the mb even work with this cpu - stupid question but im planning on buying it tommorow - most importantly will any ddr4 2666 ram work with this mb for eg - goodram irdm x 16gb 2666 cl16?

What cpu cooling would you recommend that is compatible with this mb and would be better than the stock intel 2 in 1 morning wake up garbage truck and jet fan with tiny radiator, for under 20-25 usd.

I found a be quiet! Pure rock slim, apparently its compatible. Is it ok if use the plastic clip thingy that the stock intel fan uses or is it a bit too much weight? <--thats some care for the mb )

Go for a $65 B365 board that doesnt need a bios update.

2666mhz ram will work.

I think pretty much any board wil, but b365 are newer and more likely to have the update.

From what im reading its supports the cpu from the deafult bottom bios version, correct me if im wrong.

Correct. Every processor on the list is supported by the initial BIOS, F1.
