Hi I have a question regarding motherboard longevity and quality. For me price is not an object (as long as it's sub ~250-300$) and not doing any overclocking. This would also apply to pretty much anybody's build however. When not OC'ing if you buy say a Z490 instead of a H470 will the mobo last longer? Is it probably of higher build quality? Any other reason to prefer Z490 over H470? Assume the same applies to AMD mobo equivalents.
Thanks!

Solution
AMD equivalent of H470 right now is A320.
AMD equivalent of Z490 right now is B550/X570.
What Intel doesn't have is a A520/B550 equivalent - they have their B460, but it doesn't support overclocking like B550 and A520 does.

Nah I don't think it will, depends on how you maintain. I has an H61 chipset last me 4-5 years before giving it to someone in working condition

No idea - the only working Intel PC I have is running a Pentium III 500.
I did have a Core i5-4570 + H61 Express mobo, but it was from an Optiplex and that Core i5-4570 is gone now.
