Ok,

I am downsizing my rig into a mini-itx case and upgrading my mobo and cpu to skylake. I am going with the i5 6600k cpu and it doesnt come with a cooler, and I dont initially plan on overclocking. My question is what is the difference in the corsair h50i through the 80i as they are all the same size?

And will the bottom model (50i or 60i) be sufficient to cool stock speeds...and possibly a very mild overclock?

thanks

OK. With that case, I can see why AIO. How are your watchmaking skills ? :)

This page http://www.corsair.com/en/cooling summarizes the differences. The water block/pump is cheaper on the lower end units, but just about anything will do. Read the reviews to see if the noise will bother you. Old reviews http://www.anandtech.com/show/5054/corsair-hydro-series-h60-h80-and-h100-reviewed

The 50 and 60 models you are talking about are rather old, and I'd want something more modern.
The information so far shows that the Skylake chips run cooler than Haswell, is any mid-grade cooler will be plenty. I'd consider a downdraft air cooler, like the RAIJINTEK Pallas, because it will also cool the motherboard and RAM. What is your motherboard and case?

Either of those AOIs would do well.

Cooler master elite 130

And mobo is GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GA-Z170N
