Seen multiple threads like this, but differing opinion.

Im going to get a NZXT H500 case, should i get two more 140mm fans for intake at the front? The case comes with two exhaust (rear and top) fans.

I would like it if the temps were better but they don't have to be. What advantages are there of going for the above fan config?

Thanks in advance.

Optimal cooling is 2x fans in front low, 2x fans top rear. Whether that's done with a liquid cooler and 2-3 additional fans or just 4x fans doesn't matter.

Additional fans show severely curtailed gains, less fans show severely detrimental results in your standard ATX mid-tower.

This changes with some fan sizes, for instance a single 200mm intake can replace 2x 120mm etc.

2x 140mm fans as intake would be perfect if you need a lot of airflow. If you have a liquid cooler then you could mount it at the top and make the fan for the radiator as exhaust. Which shouldn't hurt your graphic cards temp. The 140mm fans are going to bring fresh air for your system. The heat from the raidiator is going outside of your case which is good.
