Hi,

I am planing to build my rig with core i3 10105F. Which chipset mobo should I choose h510 or b460. Considering both are priced the same.

Regards,
Arnab

Solution
The B460M A PRO motherboard has 2 more SATA ports, 2 more USB3.0 ports, and a m.2 heatsink. It is very similar to the H510M Pro in all other aspects. Both have 2 ram slots and the same VRM to my knowledge.

H510 will allow you to upgrade to rocket lake CPUs later on.

You might want to also mention what board's you're looking at together with the chipset for better context. Please note, that the F suffix on the processor means that you don't have access to the iGPU, so you should factor in a discrete GPU purchase to that list as well.

I do not care about upgradation. I will not upgrade for the next 3 - 4 gens atleast. In that case I will have to buy a new mobo anyways. Which one should I go for then.
