hello I've been doing some research on the h60 and i plan to get it along with p120 pwm red fans from corsair, after doing some research i cam across something concerning, i read that some people were having problems securing the water block to the mother board which led to cpu over heating, and in response some people were saying that they were using the wrong standoffs yatta yalta, my question is
if i get the corsair hydro series h60, will it fit to my asus maximus hero vii? the person who had the issues that i mentioned earlier actually had that board itself so will it actually fit? Thanks!

I'm quite surprised you'd see fitting issues from a CPU cooler. They're pretty specifics in the dimensions and locking mechanisms they use. I'd chalk it up to that reviewer having a defective unit. I highly doubt the H60 would not be compatible with that motherboard, specially since clearance is usually not an issue for AIO coolers.

so do you think it's safe to get the cooling unit
