H61 Chipset For i3 3220

Hey guys, I am changing Motherboard and I need to know will the H61 chipset be compatible with the i3 3320

Yes. The H61 chipset is compatible with Ivy Bridge, the ones that aren't are B65 and Q67. You do need to make sure the motherboard has a BIOS that supports Ivy Bridge processors though.

Yes, that motherboard should support the Core i3-3220 with even the first BIOS version.

mATX compatibility isn't listed for that case. Most of the mounting holes are the same between the two though, so it should work.

hi i see u look answers,well i have the h61m-sp2 and i run it on i3 3220 3.3 ghz ,socket lga 1155,and i have a gtx 660 oc 2 gb on it,500gb hdd, 685 W, supply on virtel 685 ,on 500 real watts, and everythig is good i even run bf4
on ultra on 60 avg fps max 85 lowes 35-40 ,but i hade asuddenly frame droop because i hade a 4 gb ddr ram ,and when i add 4 more now 8 gb ram ,they r stabile on 65-70 fps
