I'm doing a pretty basic build (intel core i3220, amd radeon 7770, 8gb ram) and I can get an H61 mobo for like $50 or a Z77 for like $90. Which is the way to go? cause H61 is kinda old and it doesn't seem like people use it any more.
Go for either H77 or B75. The H61 is good, but some need to be updated to support Ivy Bridge. If you can, get a Haswell i3 when it comes out with a newer mobo.

Thx man! I think im guna get a H61 cause the one im getting says it supports ivy bridge and is an Asus, which is a reputable brand. It looks obvious that the Z series is beyond what I need.
