Question h61-s2pt trouble

hi everyone i have a h61-s2pt gigabyte and if i put i5 2400 processor it don't run my rx 470 if i put a lower processor the vga run good

So what i got from that is that your i5 2400 doesnt work with your RX 470,but when you install a worse processor in your motherboard everything runs fine.
Define 'it dont run'.
Does it not show signal,does it not to anything,do the fans only spin,you will have to be more specific.
What powersupply do you have?

when i run i5 2400 alone on intel vga it work when i put rx 470 don't work only open intel if i chnge the processor the rx470 work fine i have 650w powersupply

Are you sure u plugged in the video cable IN the graphics card,not in the motherboard?
Go back to your old cpu,use DDU to delete all the previous drivers you had and put the rx 470 back in and see if it works.

i try it and upate latest bios change the processoe without touch the gpu but still ont work they work fine sepratly but don't work togather don't know whu

Do you have any other graphics card to test with your i5 2400?
From a family member,friend?

no its hard to find that but it was working on amother mb with 750 fine
the 470 wasent work on the old mb cuz it was pre build with low power suplly

I had a similar problem when i bought i7 3770 to replace i3 3240.I turned the system on with i7 3770 and everything lit up and fans were spinning but no display.Turned out the CPU was faulty.
Did you buy your i5 2400 used or new?
