Good day, with this motherboard I normally use my i3 2100, and ofcourse I would like to use a bit of a better CPU so I got hold of my girlfriends old CPU which is the i5 3330. But when ever I try boot it up it will give me 4 quick beeps and then restart the machine a few seconds after that and it will just loop from there onwards.

Now I've first looked on the web what it could be and it comes up with unsupported CPU... and to make sure about that again I did some research and it says the my MoBo does support the i5 3330.

Can anyone please help me with this one?

DDR3. I first tried mine which I am not 100% sure about but I think it's either 1333 or 1600. But I also then tried my girlfriends DDr3 ram which is a 1600. I personally feel that the issue does not lay with the ram. I feel that it might just need a bios update ( which I'm very sceptical about )

I really just want to get it work because the i5 would help with gaming because atm the i3 is doing a good job but it really feels like it's bottleneck my 1050 4g ti.. until I get the money to upgrade I'm stuck with the i5 which isn't working and my i3 which runs but I can feel the bottleneck

Any pointers on the bios update, I know they can be quite harmful to the motherboard making it useless if done wrong. And since I've never done one before I wouldn't want to mess up... maybe a step by step would help.. thank you for your help
