h81 or z97???

Looking at the msi z97 g43 for my i7 4790k but have heard about the quality control issues with msi in general. The other board I like is the Asus h81 gamer but heard the 81s are a bit lacking. Any insights would be helpful.

or Gigabyte GA Z97 Gaming 5

Boards with the Z97 chip have the most features and it can overclock your cpu. H97 chips are the same, but have less features and can't overclock. Z87 and H87 are the previous versions of them. H81 chip based boards should have less features and worse build quality.

This is only ONE thing to consider. Features and build quality.

I now leaning towards the z97s krait. It will easily support my cpu and has m.2 which I've bin wanting to play with. The gaming 5 is £40 more and over my budget.

So from what I've read z97 is worth the extra £15 as the h81 would need to patch and update the bios. Thanks for replying guys.
