Hi, I have recently bought a PC that has an ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. H81M-C (SOCKET 1150) (BIOS Version: 3501) and I am thinking of upgrading the CPU to either an i5-4670 or i5-4590, but a friend of mine told me that he had the same motherboard and it friend when he put an i5 4460 in it. He said that many people told him that the motherboard is weak and cannot hold these kind of CPU's more than 2 weeks before it fries, is that true? Or can I just upgrade the CPU with any of those with no problem?

Thanks.

There are people that are using even cheaper motherboards for i5 CPUs. It should not be a problem. It will last for a lot longer than 2 weeks. The CPUs can't be overclocked. At stock speeds they are not very power hungry.
