H81M-p33 and 2gb 2rx8 pc3

  Hello everyone, new here
  
  Really enjoy the help and usually not one to post or ask anything. I have and msi h81m-p33 with i5 Intel 4690k, 1Tb Hard Drive, Gtx 750 Ti with 500w to boot.
  
  I am at a wall till the end of the week, this all was an upgrade from an acer aspire which I still have the ram from. I have nothing else I could use and I took everything apart so before I go and rebuild I thought I'd comfirm whether the board can support the ram or not.

The parts that determine the compatibility of RAM are the Motherboard and CPU. What RAM exactly is it you want to know about? 2rx8 pc3 isn't much of a spec to go off of. The clock speed of the RAM is the most important factor here.

It is 104000u I'm pretty sure. I just put it back together, id have to open it and look. Before on my old motherboard so my gf can play fallout 4 until I grab updated ram I suppose.

Maybe you mean 10600, in which case your clock speed is 1333. That speed of memory is usually very compatible.

Exactly. It was in my old aspire m3910. From a friend I got it back up and running for now. Think the ram would work in the h18m-p33 DIMM ddr3?

It *should* work. I see no reason for it not to, unless you're mixing it with another set of RAM. If so, it gets more complicated.
