Hello,

I'd like to know difference between all these, H vs H, and Z vs Z please.

I know that Z is for OC and H is not for OC, with same features ( I think )

but, now with the 97 and 87.. I'd like to know for H specifically..

if I buy a H97 and a haswell CPU, in the future, will i still be able to run broadwell? (new cpus that come out?)

sorry for my english

Solution
I just looked around and its going to be supported (source: http://rog.asus.com/309762014/news/intel-confirms-9-series-motherboards-support-future-broadwell-cpus/)

I would say yes to waiting for the H97/Z97 motherboard. If you plan on overclocking, probably get a z97 motherboard. H97 if you don't plan on overclocking.
The H97/Z97 sets should support broadwell in the future I believe. H series just doesn't support overclocking nor does it support crossfire/SLI in some, and those that do, aren't worth it to run an SLI/Crossfire System I believe.

I have just seen that 97 boards are arriving into my country, so it's better if I wait and get a H97 and haswell, this saves me trouble changing motherboard for a new CPU in the future, right?

Btw, is IT confirmed that 97 will support HASWELL and BROADWELL? It's already out so I think people should have a YES or NO already right?
