[SOLVED] H97 Anniversary Motherboard M.2 SSD Question

Hello, I see that H97 Anniversary Motherboard does not have M.2 slot so I am planning to buy PCIe 2.0 M.2 adapter for Samsung 970 Pro SSD. If i were to install windows from SSD, would i be able to boot from SSD installed on PCIe 2.0 slot?

They added NVME support back in 2016 according to the bios updates notes so *In Theory* you should be able to but I would send their Tech Support an email to confirm compatibility with the 970 first.
