Well.... I'm more of the opinion that all of these app stores - Steam, Google Play, Apple - should spend a LOT MORE of the billions they get on more/better malware detection. I think Google's Play store is one of the worse, but they all could improve. 10% additional investment into security doesn't take too much from those billions.
