The problem with Crypto is, it's almost completely unregulated. No safety nets, no government guarantees for users/consumers and their money.

When things like this happen, and seemingly quite regularly, it does not encourage others to get on board with Crypto. Policing said industry is almost impossible. Whilst this guy was caught, I suspect there are plenty more that don't get caught.

For me, this is all about a fast buck (I mean crypto as a whole, and not just this hack).
