Hacking into dads wireless from linux problems.

and also im having trouble trying to hack back into my dads WEP wireless network.
he won't tell me because he says it's school time and even though i make straight A's he won't give it to me.
so im trying to download a driver or something for my AWLH6085 airlink pci card to work in aircrack-ng.
I've done the installation and i can't seem to get further than that.
i follow these instructions. and get lost because it doesn't show anything after the end. http://youtu.be/nkdL8Y4DBUQ right at 5:19 there isn't any extra wireless device. just blank like this.
