[SOLVED] Hackintosh or virtualbox?

I've just completed my first pc build and would really like to either get osx running as a dual boot with windows, or run it in a virtual thingy on a spare 320gb hdd. I have absolutely no experience of either, although having done a little research it seems that hackintoshing is much more difficult. My pc is pretty capable but does running osx in a virtual thing make it quite slow? I will be using logic and other music production software.
