Spilled a drink absolutely everywhere , it got into the top vent, and dripped down. Video cut out immediately. After cleaning and kergiggering the computer now boots and works if you press the Mem OK button and boot from BIOS . I'm stumped at this point, any ideas ?

also start with just the mb and one ram stick if your mb has onboard video. try starting the mb outosde the case on top of the box. a lot of the newer mb if there a surge/brownout are set to boot back into the bios. have you tried clearing the cmos by the jumper to see if it resets???
After letting your computer cool down for a bit, Try taking your motherboard out and cleansing it meticulously with Isopropyl the most concentrated- the best, X2 passes preferably, let it dry in room temperature it will take a little while some sediments from water or other could be not that visible at all , cleanse slots too (ram, PCI) and connectors, and other components like ram graphic card PCB. let all dry thoroughly for few hours or better for a day at room temp or you could help by wiping off the excess with lint free cloth.

Liquid on PC/laptop is not something to be taken and handled lightly.
If you have something like that, you shall try to turn it off completely and disconnect it from any kinds of power e.g. battery, electrical plug, etc.
Before you even try to reactivate it, make sure you clean it thoroughly and let it dry completely.
Any substance residue, may it be water, soda, sugar, etc., will damage your PC and it will cause damage faster, if you turn it on.

Reading your description,
It is possible that your PC might have already been damage already but cleaning thoroughly again and drying correctly still worth a shot even now, perhaps you can still prevent the worse damage.
Look into those RAM slots, GPU slots, etc.
