Question Had hhd problems. Had to get a new one, but had to uninstall windows 10. Will my product key still work?

I getting a new hhd and I want to know if the product key still works. Dosen't really matter if it doesn't though. Inactive windows 10 isin't really as bad as you think it is.

Believe the key is tied to the motherboard

Reinstall on a new drive in the same system does not impact the Windows license.
