Had I made a mistake?

Hi to all,
I have just bought a brand new laptop Lenovo Y-700 with these specs:
i7-6700 hq processor,16 GB DDR4 RAM,Nvidia GTX 960 M 4 GB GDDR5,1 TB HDD and 128 GB SSD for a price of 1000 Euros.

And now I got some information about some Dell Inspiron 7567 laptop with GTX 1050 ti graphics card and seventh generation i7 processor,for the same price!

The problem is that as I understood that the GTX 1050 ti is a better graphics card than the GTX 960 M 4 GB!

Please tell me if I had made a big mistake with buying the Lenovo,and does that Dell Inspiron would make a big difference in gaming!
By the way I also received an info that the Lenovo's card could not be upgraded!
Please tell me if I can do something to get the same performance with Lenovo as the that Dell!

A lot of he 10 series mobile gpu's are add-in cards , the 960/970m are generally hard soldered chipsets.

& Yes a 1050ti mobile just crucifies the old 960m, it's on par with a 970m.

To get the same performance ?? Impossible.

The 960m will push about the same FPS at 720p as a 1050ti at 1080p.

So play your games at 720p rather than 1080p is the only realistic advice I can suggest.

I can't find anything online that would indicate that. Dedicated does not mean upgradable. As for performance, a cursory google and passmark comparison reveals that the 1050ti is twice as strong under ideal conditions.

The 1050ti is much more powerful than the 960m. I would look at 10 series laptops but not the dell. It has a rubbish screen.
