Both used MSI motherboards! One was a PRO Z690 and the other was a MAG Z690Not that I've personally seen...did both systems use a motherboard from the same manufacturer?
The ssd is hosting the OS! I believe it’s a Samsung 970 EVO from a few years ago. I move it between builds. I also used the same RAM, which was some 3200mhz GSKILL Ripjaws VHow is Windows being installed?
Is the mentioned SSD hosting the OS?
With the SSD being moved between rigs?
I can't really say it's "normal", but I can't really say it's "abnormal" either. I've used a ton of MSI motherboards in the past, and have a great deal of respect for them. You say they're running fine now...so perhaps this is what MSI calls a "feature".Both used MSI motherboards! One was a PRO Z690 and the other was a MAG Z690
For the moment it may be working.
However, longer term, problems are likely.
