Hello everyone! I have a question regarding case fans for the HAF 912. I just have the default fans currently and was wondering what would be the best upgrade for a better flow of air.

Here is the setup I was thinking about:

Two 120mm fans in the front pulling air in.
Two 120mm fans on the top pulling air out.
Keep the default fan in the rear of the case.
Move the front default fan to the side of the case to pull air in.

OR

One 200mm fan in the front pulling air in.
One 200m fan on the top pulling air out.
Keep the default fan in the rear of the case.
Move the front default fan to the side of the case to pull air in.

Which specific fan would you recommend for both the 120mm and 200mm? Which setup would be best here?

I'm also thinking of getting another fan (same one as it came with) for the hyper 212+. Should I just get another fan of the same type as it came with?

Thanks!

These are workable solutions. The ideal setup would be the one that gives you the lowest CPU temps as well as acceptable case temps. You may have to experiment in order to obtain the ideal setup for your HAF 912.

Regarding the second part of your question. Yes, by all means use an identical fan on the Hyper 212. The air flow must be balanced to reduce turbulence and increase heat transfer.
