I've played for about 3 hours today and then i noticed a smell of heat, like a hot smartphone/laptop or hairdryer kind of smell.

So i checked my pc case and i understood that it comes from there.
I checked the temps and they seemed to be fine

60 Cpu
70 Gpu
Storage was about 30

I feared that something might happen so I turned off my pc and started sniffing around my components to try to find the source for the smell.
However i didn't open it up because i have a sticker behind it that taking that off might cost my warranty.

Many people say that in such case it might be the PSU or GPU, but i couldnt smell something coming out of them.

I could however, smell it from the top of my case (above my motherboard and cpu).

What am I supposed to do? I don't want to cause some sort of fire or anything that might harm my pc.
Is it just a smell thats caused because the pc is hot?
I have indeed smelled it before but this time i could smell it by sitting next to my pc ( which is on my desk) and not by smelling the case on purpose.
I'd mention that i haven't cleaned my pc since i bought it (2 years ago)

Well, no one can tell you for sure but if I was you and I really needed to study I would keep it on, just don't stress it with games and tough stuff.
