News Half-Life 2 running with just 8MB of VRAM is a beautiful wireframe mess

Probably the best running game on my old atom Z3775 tablet. 32 shaders at 778mhz on a 2w SOC from 2014 is all it takes to run this game. Lost Coast benches at 59.54fps at 1366x768, low. With almost 50g flops of processing power.

I wonder if my 3080 can handle the updated version as well. How things have changed.

I was seeing 100-150MB with the settings my tablet ran, but on my desktop with the 3080 per MSI AB per process, and a little over 1GB running 4kmax with the old version.
