Halo 2 finished in 5.5 hours, 2nd level of hardness

My 14 year old son managed to finish Halo 2 in only 5.5 hours on the 2nd
level out of 4.

Is it really meant to be so damn easy?

I'm quite p*ssed of if that is all the game play in it on the normal level.

He is now going back to play again at the 3rd level.

Legendary level is NO picnic. Let me know what you think when he gets there.

Yeah, It can be done, turns out if you run through a lot of the levels in
stead of killing every baddies in each room, you can get it done really
quick. I did the same thing.

Only some rooms are triggered if you kill everyone, and the long stretch on
some levels in waiting for other players (AI) to do it's job. Do not want to
spoil anything.

I did it under 6 hours on Normal, so it is believable your son did that. But
I can assure you that when he plays on the hardest level, (Level 4 setting)
known as Legendary, he will have to fight blood and sweat through that.

Do not be pissed, the other factor is that many people has enhanced their
halo playing skills thanks to Halo 1, so jumping in Halo 2 with little
adjustment makes the game easier on Normal.

I'm doing it on one under Legendary and it is hard enough to make you think
before jumping into a new area. I am going to try it on Legdn. after beating
it.
