Ok so I got a second 970 and set it up, and was playing around with a couple of settings in NV inspector, as well as I changed and enabled SLI in geforce control panel. Now I run Fallout 4 and the game CTD as soon as I tried to load a save. As soon as I click load it crashes. After deleting all saves and trying a new game, it crashes instantly still.

I reverted the settings in control panel back to default, both program and global, then defaulted settings in nv inspector. Still crashes instantly. Tried multiple reboots to no avail. Below is a link of the video showing the problem. Any ideas? short of deleting NV inspector and wiping drivers etc and completely starting fresh, IDK what to do. In fact I wonder if after wiping everything, would the problem still arise? I'm running i7-4790, 2x 970s, 16gb ram, all drivers up to date yada yada yada. Please help.

Solution
Looks like more fallout problem then drivers. Remove Fallout settings folder sometimes when you change drivers game gets grumpy. Delete game form steam will not fix it. There are files in documents that stay even after game delete so do it manual. Documents->my games->Fallout 4.

Do you have any mods installed?

Solution
@loki, no EVERYTHING deleted, including saves.

@Iron, TYVM, deleted contents of folder in documents, and as you said, steam validated successfully. So ran game again and this time it worked. As you said, something must have changed in settings folder somewhere, but at least problem solved. Now back to tweaking and re-installing mods :/. I actually wonder if I have spent more time modifying this game than playing it lol
