Ok, first off ill just say this post does relate to a new build I have just finished putting together with alot of help from the sick C**** on this site...
SPECS-
CPU- Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
MoBo- ASRock Z77 Extreme4 ATX
Memory- G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
HDD- Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5"
SSD- OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5"
GPU- Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 3GB OC Edition
PSU- OCZ ZT 750W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V
Case- CoolerMaster HAF 912 Combat with window
But until I do buy my parts in the next monthor two my little brother had my gramps put him together a basic computer for his bedroom...It wasjust for web browsing, movies etc...It is not wifi enabled so he simply did not want it and gave it to me (new monitor, keyboard, mouse etc included so I am happy 🙂...Long story short I am going to use this in the meantime until I get my new comp! As im new to the spec side of pc's I thought I would jump on here and let you guys give it a once over. i am hoping to at least be able to play some games on low-medium setting just to tide me over. Let me know what sort of stuff I can do with this PC... Cheers
These are the specs I could find so far on the Hand Me Down...
CPU- AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ 3.00 Ghz
Memory- 4.00 GB RAM
HDD- 500 GB
GPU- ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO
PSU- Not sure as I havnt opened her up yet as I just booted it up as im typing this
Im not looking for any heavy duty games...I am hoping to get something like dayz on this thing until I get my new rig for BF3 and games of that calibre.
Can some of you guys let me know if this thing is worth holding onto for a couple months 🙂 cheers...
Even if I have to upgrade the GPU to something just slightly better in the 100-150 dollar mark to get some low-med settings I will do it until I get the new one...
