Hand resting on desk when gaming?

I am currently using the death adder in claw grip and I find that my wrist is always resting on my desk while I game. Doesn't seem like a big deal but because my wrist is resting down my hand movements are a lot more restricted and it's difficult to look upwards and downwards. I also play on a low sensitivity so it takes quite a while to snap up or down to targets. I tried switching to a palm grip but my fingers hang over the death adder when I try this. Should I try getting a bigger palm grip mouse? Which one would be a good pick? Thanks.

Have you tried a wrist rest to maybe try and counteract it? I think adding elevation to the wrist will allow for better movements.
